Bringing agriculture to market: learning from Madina

What are the critical challenges we must address to feed the world? How can we overcome them?

There are some of the questions that Gordon Conway, Director of Agriculture for Impact, answers in his forthcoming book ‘One Billion Hungry: Can We Feed the World?’, to be published by Cornell University Press on 9th October 2012.

In preparation for the book’s release, Gordon visited a food market in Accra on 14th July, to discuss some of the issues addressed in the publication. The visit was facilitated and filmed by Eric McGaw, Communications and Public Awareness Specialist, Forum for  Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA).
